Geraldine was born in Hemet California on May 23, 1925.  She was the youngest of four daughters.  Being the youngest, she had the freedom to roam the small town of Hemet—helping her father in his cabinet shop, riding her bicycle to visit friends on the outskirts of town and taking part in the outdoor play at the Ramona Bowl.  As a child, she learned to play the piano, sew, draw and cook.  These pasttimes were her favorites throughout her life.

Geraldine married Marvin the day he received his pilot wings, March 12, 1944. Especially in their later years, Geraldine and Marvin were very close sweethearts…playing cards together, reminiscing about old times, watching their favorite TV show (Perry Mason) and just being together.  At bedtime each night, Geraldine was serenaded by Marvin.  She didn’t know he could sing but when he started singing to her she was floored.  He added more and more songs to his repertoire and this is what helped her cope in her final days.

Geraldine is survived by her husband Marvin, their children Carol and Curtis, grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, and Michelle, and great grandchildren Holly, Zachary, Bebe, Scott, Ryan, Pasha, and Max.
