Carol Cooley

Carol Trotter Cooley has been my good friend since we met when her family moved to Virginia from Rhode Island. Carol's house was one house from ours and we became instant friends. Carol had a Beagle named Missey and I had a German Shepard named Shep. Every day after school we took the dogs for walks in the woods. We kind of grew up together. When Carol left Virginia we stayed in touch with each other. I visited Carol & family in San Diego, CA in 1962. Through the years we tried to stay in touch. There were times that we didn't talk much, but then she would call me or I would call her and our friendship remained until Carol's passing. I will miss my chats with Carol, she was a dear and caring friend. Love Darla
