To all who loved Evelyn,
I just came across by accident the notice of Evelyn’s passing and wanted to acknowledge her life and friendship. We worked together in the business office at Los Gatos Community in the 70’s and when we worked on the same shift....we would take breaks and walks together. Evelyn had the most beautiful smile and was loved by everyone she interacted with at the hospital. She loved her family deeply and would share with me the lives of her children who were young adults at that time. She spoke so warmly of Glen many times and taught me that we never take anything or anyone for granted. She was proud of the home improvement projects Bill worked on their home and others while still maintaining his full time job. I lost contact with Evelyn over the years but had always been concerned if she had won the battle from the surgery. I was thrilled to see that she was a survivor and had been able to accomplish a long life and knowing her...with joy in her heart.
